This unique acrylic on canvas painting by Dan Forlenza is a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork.

The acrylic painting on canvas, titled "Dancing With Myself," is a 24x24 inch piece created by Forlenza in 2024. It's inspired by Billy Idol's song of the same name. The artwork is abstract and features a stylized female face as its central element.

The face is rendered in shades of blue and white, with the eyes closed, conveying a sense of serenity or introspection. The features are simplified and somewhat elongated, giving it a slightly surreal or dreamlike quality. The face is partially obscured by a large, dark, almost black area that suggests hair or a shadowy background. 

The background and surrounding elements are a vibrant mix of yellow and blue. The yellow is applied in broad, gestural strokes that create a sense of energy and movement, possibly mirroring the dance referenced in the title.
